Fall is finally here and we are having some wonderful weather here in East Tennessee. The colors are spectacular and the temperatures are very nice in the mid 60's.
We always look forward to this time of the year as we plan for Thanksgiving and the special days planned at our church. The Thanksgiving fellowship dinner is always a highlight for our congregation.
It is a shame that we only set aside one day out of 365 to be thankful but as Christians we should honor our Lord and show Him our thankfulness for all His blessings in our life.
Psalm 100 verses 4 and 5 says:
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
We trust you are enjoying God's abundant blessings and we certainly are as Earl came through his throat surgery good and his voice is improving more each day.
He has been able to sing again after many months of being idle. Not a lot for now but just one or two songs a week is such an encouragment. Thank you for your prayers.
Libby is still dealing with her back pain so please keep her in your prayers.
Other then that she is doing well.
